Why visit Uganda?
Uganda is the African adventure at its finest: glaciers on the “Mountain of the Moon,” impenetrable jungle, and the face-to-face encounter with mountain gorillas. Our voyage combines the ascension to Margherita Peak (5,109 m) in the Rwenzori massif with a unique trekking in Bwindi National Park, where you will be able to observe the gorillas in their natural habitat.
It is a proposal designed for trekking and mountaineering lovers who seek a real challenge in high-mountain terrain, without giving up a wild nature experience. Private and 100% customizable groups, careful logistics, expert local team, and support before and during the voyage. If you dream of conquering an African 5,000 m peak and experiencing one of the most special wildlife encounters on the planet, Uganda is your next destination.

More information about Uganda
Traveling to Uganda with this program allows you to link two unforgettable waypoints in the same itinerary. First, the Rwenzori: a progressive alpine traverse that ascends from the Afro-montane forest to the high-altitude desert and ice fields, culminating at Margherita Peak, the highest summit in the country. It is a demanding trek—with glacier sections and technical terrain—that requires good physical condition and acclimatization, but the reward is virgin landscapes, camps in the heart of the wilderness, and the sensation of an authentic expedition.
Afterward, Bwindi Impenetrable Forest: a guided trekking day to locate a habituated family of mountain gorillas and spend one hour observing their behavior just a few meters away, a powerful and conservation-respecting experience. The combination of high mountains and tropical jungle makes Uganda a singular destination for travelers seeking something more than a conventional voyage.
The organization includes private transfers to and from the airport, 4x4 vehicle with a driver throughout the entire itinerary, lodging in eco-lodges and camps, certified local guides, porters and cook for the mountain section, National Park permits, and the specific permit for the gorilla trekking, in addition to all meals at the destination. You trek light; we take care of the logistics and safety.
We operate in a private format with recommended departures during the dry months (January, February, March, June, July, August, September, and December), which maximizes the options for summit success and improves the jungle experience. The standard itinerary is 12 days, but we can adjust it to your level and schedule, as well as add extensions—for example, extra days in the Rwenzori, more wildlife in Queen Elizabeth, or rest in boutique lodges. If you are looking for a complete voyage that combines technical mountaineering, exceptional biodiversity, and local culture, Uganda has it all. Ready to ascend the “Mountain of the Moon” and look into the eyes of the Bwindi gorillas?
