More information about Japan
Traveling to Japan to ski is a unique experience that combines the best powder snow on the planet with an ancient culture and unmatched hospitality.
Our programs in Hokkaido and Nagano let you enjoy pure freeride, tailored to your level and supported by professional local guides.
In Hokkaido, in the north of the Japanese archipelago, you’ll find a true winter wonderland. Each day you’ll ski areas such as Kurodake, Asahidake, and Furano, combining lift-accessed terrain with short hikes on foot to reach the best powder lines.
After each day on the mountain, you can unwind in a traditional *onsen* and enjoy Japanese dinners prepared with fresh local ingredients. Accommodation is in mountain lodges, Japanese-style, with futons and a cozy, family-like atmosphere.
In Nagano and Niigata, known as Japan’s Powder Belt, you’ll find more than 20 interconnected ski resorts — ideal for private groups looking for a flexible and varied experience.
Each day, your guide will choose the best resort according to the weather and the group’s level: from tree skiing in Madarao to the endless runs of Nozawa Onsen or the panoramic descents of Myoko and Lotte Arai.
The Japanese experience doesn’t end on the snow. Each afternoon, you can soak in natural *onsen*, wander through traditional villages, or savor local cuisine: steaming ramen, freshly prepared sushi, or a glass of sake by the fire.
Our programs include a local guide, accommodation, private transportation, lift passes, transfers, and technical support, as well as the option to rent all your equipment on site.
The best time to ski in Japan is from January to March, when Siberian storms blanket the islands with more than 13 meters of powder snow each season.
Groups are small (4–6 people), ensuring safety, exclusivity, and a tailor-made experience.
Japan is far more than just skiing — it’s a cultural immersion. Its respect for nature, minimalist aesthetic, and balance between tradition and modernity make every moment special.
Ski beneath active volcanoes, relax in hot springs, and discover one of the world’s most refined cultures on an unforgettable journey.
Japan: where powder is a religion.
