More information about Greenland
Traveling to Greenland means venturing into a remote and majestic territory where ice dominates the landscape. This program combines ski mountaineering and sailing along the west coast, between Maniitsoq and the legendary Eternity Fjord — a fjord surrounded by peaks that plunge directly into the sea.
For eight days, the Southern Star sailboat serves as a floating base, moving the group between different ski sectors.
Each morning, after breakfast on board, the guide plans the day according to the weather and snowpack stability. Groups disembark by speedboat to begin ski touring routes among active glaciers and untouched mountains, with descents that end right at the shores of the Arctic Ocean.
The atmosphere on board is warm and authentic. The crew and the chef prepare all meals using local products, while participants help with small sailing tasks, sharing the experience with a strong team spirit.
In the afternoons, after skiing, you can enjoy a polar plunge, go fishing, or simply watch the icebergs floating silently under the endless northern light.
The trip is guided by Jordi Tosas, an IFMGA-certified guide with extensive experience in Arctic expeditions, who selects the safest and most aesthetic routes for each group.
The recommended technical level is intermediate to advanced ski touring, with good physical condition and previous experience in winter mountain environments.
The ideal season runs from May to June, when the weather is stable, the days are endless, and snow conditions allow you to ski all the way down to the sea.
This trip includes full onboard accommodation, a mountain guide, safety equipment, local transportation, and full board.
It does not include international flights, alcoholic beverages, or personal gear rental, although the B4Experience team can help you arrange all of it.
More than a trip, it’s an expedition — an opportunity to experience the Arctic in an authentic, sustainable, and human way.
Greenland awaits with endless fjords, untouched mountains, and the purity of eternal ice.
