More information about Pakistan
Traveling to Pakistan with B4Experience means stepping into the very epicentre of world alpinism.
The country is home to five of the world’s fourteen highest mountains, with legendary routes, endless glaciers and mountain villages where warm hospitality blends with overwhelming natural grandeur.
K2 (8,611 m): the world’s most demanding mountain
Our K2 expedition is the ultimate challenge for any alpinist. The ascent follows the Abruzzi Spur, with a personalised physical and technical training plan, a preparatory camp in the Pyrenees or the Alps, and guided training under the supervision of Jordi Tosas.
The expedition lasts between 45 and 50 days, including the approach along the Baltoro Glacier, acclimatisation in the high camps, and the summit push.
Every detail is taken care of: a fully equipped base camp, satellite communications, expedition cooks, supplemental oxygen, highly experienced high-altitude guides and daily weather forecasting.
An extreme experience, reserved for mountaineers with previous high-altitude experience or prior ascents of six- and seven-thousand-metre peaks.
Laila Peak & Gondogoro La Trek: trekking among giants
For those seeking a major adventure without tackling an 8,000-metre peak, the trek to Laila Peak (6,096 m) and the Gondogoro La pass (5,585 m) offers a spectacular traverse through the Karakoram.
The route starts out from Hushe and crosses glaciated terrain with constant views of K2, Broad Peak and Gasherbrum I and II, as well as Laila Peak itself, often regarded as Pakistan’s most beautiful mountain thanks to its perfectly tapered spire.
For 15 days, trekkers camp beside glacial rivers and remote valleys, crossing moraines, snowy passes and isolated villages where life still follows the rhythm of the mountains.
It’s a demanding route, recommended for trekkers in good physical condition, but it does not require advanced technical experience.
Authenticity and full logistics
All our programs include internal transfers, Islamabad–Skardu flights, guides, a cook, porters, camping equipment and official permits, ensuring safety and comfort in a truly remote environment.
Accommodation combines hotels in cities such as Islamabad or Skardu with nights in fully equipped mountain camps.
Meals are prepared by local cooks and adapted both to high-altitude conditions and to each traveller’s tastes.
Season and climate
The best time to travel to the Karakoram is from June to September, when the high passes are open and temperatures allow safe access to the upper valleys.
During these months, the days are long, the weather is more stable, and the glaciers offer their best conditions for trekking and expeditions.
More than a trip, a personal conquest.
Pakistan is synonymous with challenge and wild beauty.
Trekking among the giants of the Karakoram, camping beneath K2 or taking on one of the most spectacular routes on the planet is an experience that leaves a lasting mark.
Each day is a balance of effort, contemplation and respect for a towering wilderness that still feels like true pioneer country.

Pakistan awaits you with the untouched grandeur of the Himalaya and the authenticity of its timeless mountains.
