Annapurna, one of the most dangerous peaks in the Himalayas, an avalanche devastates three climbers during Christmas 1997. Two of them disappear forever. The third is wounded, bleeding, at death’s door. Despite everything, Simone Moro finds the strength to get up. In the base camp a helicopter will save your life. Dreams are ageless, and Simone surprises everyone with her new project: to bring the rescue by helicopter to Nepal. Friends, patrons, even your climbing buddies are skeptical. Simone has never flown a helicopter, but she wants to do it in a difficult region, where the altitude and thin air make flying a deadly gamble. When the I-VIEW helicopter finally reaches Nepal, triumph has a different flavor. Volunteer missions, recovery of dead and injured climbers, and the highest rescue ever achieved by helicopter. Then the tragedy, sudden and cruel as an avalanche. The I-VIEW has crashed while carrying tourists. Years of dreams, attempts and sacrifices are destroyed in an instant. But just like on Annapurna, Simone finds the strength to get back up. He continues to train, climb and dream of taking helicopter rescue to Nepal, maybe even Pakistan. And no one doubts it anymore: he will make it happen.
