Accommodations

Refuge Albert 1st

Mountain refuge located above the Tour glacier, in a spectacular setting with views of numerous peaks of the Mont Blanc massif. Completely renovated in 2014, it is one of the few refuges in the area accessible in summer without the need to cross glaciers. Accommodation is in shared rooms, in the typical atmosphere of alpine refuges.

Chanrion Hut

The Chanrion hut, located in the upper Val de Bagnes, in the Swiss Valais, is a remote mountain refuge south of Lake Mauvoisin, at 2,462 meters altitude, at the foot of the Otemma peak. Owned by the Swiss Alpine Club, it offers accommodation in shared rooms in a natural and quiet environment, ideal for mountaineers and hikers.

Vignettes Hut

The Vignettes hut is an alpine refuge located south of Arolla, in the Swiss Valais, at 3,160 meters altitude, at the foot of Pigne d'Arolla and near the Chermotane pass in the Pennine Alps. All accesses require crossing glaciers, and the refuge offers accommodation in shared rooms in a high mountain environment.

The Bertol refuge is a mountain refuge located above the Bertol pass, south of Arolla in the Swiss Valais, known for its spectacular location on a ridge at 3,311 meters altitude. It is accessed by a series of ladders and chains from the glacier, and offers accommodation in shared rooms in an impressive alpine environment.

The Schönbiel hut is a mountain refuge located north of the Matterhorn, at 2,694 meters altitude, above the Zmutt glacier and a few kilometers west of Zermatt, in the Swiss Valais. It offers accommodation in shared rooms in a privileged alpine environment.
