    ARRIVAL TO LOFOTEN

    Faqs of the travel company B4ExperienceThe best airport to arrive is Evenes (Harstad/Narvik) which has daily flight connections to Oslo. Will get your booked rent a car in the airport and drive to your cabin for the week (around 2h). A nice cabin situated just in the heart of Lofoten within a short driving distance from Svolvær and Henningsvær.

    SVOLVAER AND FLOYA

    Faqs of the travel company B4ExperienceWill start the morning discovering the fishing village of Svolvaer, the main town in Lofoten. A nice morning walk will bring us to the harbour were we have some typical Cod drying racks, there the cod fish is dried up to 16 weeks. Visit by boat to Trollfjord, a narrow and dramatic fjord that is renowned for its towering cliffs and breathtaking natural beauty; you can choose to visit by speed boat (2h) or by an electric-silent bigger boat (3,5h). In the afternoon we recommend a hike up to Fløya (590mts), were you will get the best views from Svolvaer.     NORTH BEACHES

    Faqs of the travel company B4ExperienceToday will explore the North side beaches of Leknes. One of the most populars is Unstad, famous to be the best surf spot in Lofoten, if you wish you can rent a board and neoprene on the beach to surf some Atlantic waves. Another possibility is to visit Vik beach and Hauklandstranda; from there you can hike up to Mannen Haukland (400mts) or reach Uttakleiv beach in the other side and then return on the easy coastal trail. On the the trip back if you wish to keep exploring and do another easy beach/hike it is possible to stop in Rørvikstranda beach and for the ones who wish go up to Glomtinden (419mts) which provides a nice 360 degrees views. For people that wish something more technical nearby is Vågakallen (943mts), a difficult graded climb that is not recommmeded in rainy days.     HENNINGSVÆR

    Henningsvær, often called the "Venice of Lofoten," is a picturesque fishing village known for its stunning natural beauty and vibrant arts scene. Nestled on several small islands, Henningsvær offers visitors charming harbor views, traditional Norwegian architecture, and opportunities to explore local galleries or taste the best cinnamon rolls.

    The town it is also know for its football pitch surrounded by sea nearby the tip of the town.

    This day we recommend to hike one of the most populars summits in Lofoten, the Festvågtind (541mts) with a nice views over Henningsvaer.

    On the evening will go into a typical Norwegian sauna (included) next to the best views and pizza restaurant in town, Trebarefabrikken.

    DAY AT SEA AND VISIT TO HAWAII

    Faqs of the travel company B4ExperienceThis morning you can choose to either go on a 3h guided kayaking tour (for the more adventurous people) or enjoy a 4h fishing trip out at sea to catch the most delicious Cod fishes. After Lunch will take a ferry to Skrova, a small island in Lofoten just in front of Svolvær, is a hidden gem known for its pristine beaches (known as Hawaii of Lofoten), vibrant fishing culture, and panoramic views from his top point Skrovafjellet (281mts). Return on the last ferry to Svolvær.

    KVALVIKA BEACH

    Faqs of the travel company B4ExperienceToday will travel to the western side of Lofoten (1,5h by car) to Kvalvika beach, located on the rugged coast of Moskenesøya. A remote and breathtaking destination known for its golden sands, turquoise waters, and dramatic mountain backdrop. Accessible only by a scenic hike, this secluded beach offers visitors a sense of solitude and connection with nature.

    We can take the hike up to Ryten (543mts) which combines coastal beauty with panoramic mountain views. Starting from the pristine sands of Kvalvika, the trail ascends gradually through lush meadows and rugged terrain. As you climb, the views become increasingly breathtaking, with sweeping vistas of the turquoise waters and the dramatic coastline below.
    On the afternoon we recommend to stop in Nusfjord, one of Norway's oldest and best-preserved fishing villages. Known for its traditional red and yellow rorbuer (fishermen's cabins), Nusfjord offers visitors a glimpse into the region's rich maritime heritage. A nice restaurant in town for dinner is Karoline, we recommend to book a table well in advance.
    Extra recommended activities: If your are into SUP paddle, you can rent a SUP paddle board (with wetsuit) to go exploring the Nusfjord's bay. (Children 16 or younger need to be accompanied by an adult). You can book this extra activity in the checkout.

Your package includes a rental car, which you'll pick up and return at the airport. Accommodations are in a fully-equipped cabin, perfect for preparing meals. Physical and technical level requirement

This is a private program (minimum 2 pax) that is adapted to your needs and level. Either you are a family with young kids or teenagers or a couple looking for adrenaline and top activities will proposed the best activities to match your expectations. Normal hikes in Lofoten are easy to follow, non-technical and with summits ranging from 400-600mts. If you are looking for higher one will proposed summits up to 900mts elevation and with more technical routes. Lofoten is a paradise for climbing, a guided climbing guide can be added to the package.

Food and accommodation

Food&Accommodation:
Accommodations are in a fully-equipped cabin, perfect for preparing meals. We also provide a list of the best local restaurants and cafés, where you can indulge in the region's famous cinnamon rolls—a must-try with stiff competition among local bakers!

The cabin depends on the final number of people for this specific trip and it is located in the center of Lofoten within a short driving distance from Svolvaer and Henningsvaer.

Rent a Car

The rented car included in the trip depends on the availability in the moment to book the trip, but will be at least a Toyota Corolla or similar.

Rent a car comes with a unlimited car millage and with full insurance (CDW+SCDW) with an insurance excess of 1500,00noks (about 150eur). Additional drivers have a cost of 40,00noks/day (about4eur/day). It is required a credit card when taking the car in the airport.

For groups up to 5 people is included 1 car and for bigger group 2 cars or more.

Solo Travelers

This trip is designed to be private for groups of a minim 2 people. In case you are a single person that which to discover Lofoten we propose you to join our "LOFOTEN FROM THE SEA" trip that is more suitable for solo travelers wishing to join an open group. 

Flights

In case you wish that we can look for the best flight combination tickets from your nearest airport to the destination you can add this service in "extra services" on the checkout before booking the trip and will give you the best proposal beforehand and once accepted buy it for you. This service includes monitor the flight prices over time to get the best deal when prices are low and check in of your flight. The administrative fee for this service is 35€ + the flights cost that will be invoice to you afterwards.

The main airport in the region is Evenes, which is located between the cities of Harstad and Narvik with direct flights to Oslo with Norwegian and SAS. It is also possible to fly to Svolvaer which has fly connections to Bodo.

Rescue, travel and cancellation insurance

We offer you a 5% discount on your IATI travel insurance. The discount is just valid if you buy the travel insurance policy after clicking on the link.

In case you wish that we can look for the best travel insurance that covers the trip destination/activity with your nationality. You can add this service in "extra services" on the checkout before booking the trip and will give you the best proposal beforehand and once accepted buy it for you. The administrative fee for this service is 15€ + the insurance cost that will be invoice to you afterwards.

The client is informed that B4Experience will issue the trip without including a cancellation, repatriation or accident policy, unless it is explicitly included in the trip contract and paid in the first payment. During the trip contracting, you will be offered how to contract it if you wish.

Rescue insurance: Recommended / Not mandatory
Rescue insurance is highly recommended on all active trips. It must be taken into consideration that these insurance policies are specific for each type of activity (hiking, climbing...)

Visas, Vaccines and Entry Requirements

Visas, and Entry Requirements
Certainly! It is important to have a valid passport with at least 6 months validity when traveling to any country.

To know the specific visa requirements for your trip, it is recommended to contact your local embassy or consulate, or consult with your travel agent. Remember that it is your responsibility to ensure you have the correct travel documentation. Visa requirements can vary based on your nationality and your destination. While we strive to keep our information updated, visa rules can change unexpectedly. Therefore, it is crucial that you verify the information yourself and understand that you are accountable for meeting your own visa requirements.

Vaccines
For each trip, clients are solely responsible for having the mandatory and/or recommended vaccines required in each region or country. Consult with your doctor to have all vaccinations before the start of the trip.

Payment and cancellation policy

Initial Reservation: To secure your place, an initial payment 30% of the total amount of the trip is required at the time of making the reservation.

Final Payment: The remaining amount, equivalent to 70% of the total, must be paid no later than 60 days before the departure date.

Extras: Additional travel costs, such as insurance, flights and other optional services, must be paid in full at the time of booking.

Cancellation insurance: The client can take out trip cancellation insurance to be able to obtain payment of the entire amount paid (according to its conditions).

The end user may withdraw from the contracted trip, having the right to a refund of the amounts paid, except for the indicated penalties, but must also satisfy the Agency in the amounts indicated below once the trip has been confirmed. If it is not carried out due to not reaching the minimum necessary places, the client can save the credit for future trips or request a full refund of the reservation.

Cancellation Policy 3:

    • FULL REFUND UP TO 24H AFTER PURCHASE
    • Up to 60 days before the trip 100% refund of the trip amount.
    • Up to 45 days before the trip Refund of 50% of the trip amount.
    • For terms shorter than those described in the cancellation policy, the amount already paid will not be paid.
    • *€250 management fees apply

* Cancellation fees will not be paid for reservations already issued. If there are other non-refundable expenses already issued, these will not be paid either and will be deducted from the amount to be paid.
* The cost of cancellation of issued flights is 100% of the amount.
