THE TREKKING OF THE LANGTANG VALLEY IS IDEAL TO HAVE A FIRST EXPERIENCE IN NEPAL.
A trek to enjoy, without acclimatization problems, we will reach 3,730m, and with all the splendor of the great Langtang National Park and be just below the great peak of Langtang Lirung (7,246m) that dominates the valley and extends on both sides from the border with Tibet.
It is an ideal route to enjoy with friends or family, of moderate difficulty and suitable for everyone. With quiet walks from 4 to 6 hours every day.
In spring you will be able to observe the various birds, the impressive flowers of the rhododendrons. The route to Langtang Village passes through a rainforest full of monkeys and as you climb it turns into a stunning frozen alpine landscape with views of Langtang Lirung (7245m), Ganesh Himal (7146m) and Dorje Lhakpa (6990m) peaks. They are the reward for hikers.
The trip begins in Syabrubesi, a few kilometers from the border with Tibet and the gateway to the Langtang Valley and the Tamang country. We will go up through the bottom of the valley to arrive first at Lama Hotel, then Langtang Village and finally Kyangjin Gompa, the last inhabited village in the valley.
The path that we will take on this trek goes through exuberant subtropical forests until we reach the very Himalayas, with large and impressive peaks and glaciers.
The region is home to the Tamang and Sherpa peoples. Here they live their lives with a unique culture that is a curious mix of Nepali and Tibetan influences.
The best months to carry out this trekking are March, April, May, September, October, November and December. Remember that we will enter one of the great National Parks of Nepal.
