ITINERARY HELISKI NEPAL
Our semi-private groups consist of two groups of four participants each. The adventure spans five days of heliskiing, offering two distinct skiing packages across the Annapurna South, North, and Massif regions. Descents range from 700 to 1,500 vertical meters. Helicopter flight time is set at 12 hours for Annapurna South and Massif, and 15 hours for the combined Annapurna South, Massif, and North package. We operate using an Airbus H125, also known as the AS350 B3 and AS350 B3e. Each group of eight participants is guided by two expert guides.
Private Heliski Trips cater to small groups of up to 3 people. The package includes 5 days of heliskiing with 10 hours of helicopter flight time. Each run offers vertical drops ranging from 700 to 1,500 meters. We utilize the Airbus H125, also known as the AS350 B3 and AS350 B3e. Two ski guides will accompany the group. The primary skiing areas are in the Annapurna South and North regions, as well as the Annapurna Massif. Skiing in more remote regions, such as Everest or Humla, depends heavily on the weather conditions of the season.
Exploration of new areas is reserved for Explorer Club groups, focusing on pioneering first descents. These packages are custom-designed and include 12 hours of flight time.

Our main operations are in the Annapurna region, known for its exceptional skiing conditions and stunning scenery. Stay in the vibrant town of Pokhara, nestled by Lake Fewa, where you’ll enjoy luxury 5-star accommodations. With helicopter flights ranging from 12 to 15 hours, you’ll explore the north and south sides of Annapurna, each offering its own spectacular views. The south side showcases the awe-inspiring Annapurna I and Fishtail Peak, while the north side features the majestic Annapurna II, III, and IV. We offer trips for both skiers and snowboarders, you should be able to handle all off piste conditions well and comfortably.
Our trainer Mr. Pablo Ral, graduate in Physical Activity Sciences, Master in High Performance, Chilean Ski Mountaineering Coach and specialist in endurance sports… can make you a specific personal training plan for this trip.

- Premium training plan (monthly): 130€ (Fill out online form, 1h personal interview (to adjust the plan and resolve doubts), Receive your personalized plan. Weekly monitoring of your progression and monthly readjustment of the training plan)
You can request your training plan at the time of booking your trip or later. (Standard training plans are valid for a maximum of 3 months)
Kathmandu (KTM) & hotel clothing & miscl. items:
- Tennis shoes (you can play tennis at the Hotel in KTM and in Pokhara if you want) Shorts, casual and sports
- T-shirts
- Swim shorts or suit (the Yak & Yeti has a swimming pool)
- Gym clothing (only needed if you want to work out)
- Medium weight sports type jacket or fleece jacket
- Fleece tops or sweaters
- Comfortable casual clothing for dinners and cruising the town, etc. (there is no need to have formal clothing, this is a very casual trip and area)
- Underwear and socks for 10 days (we have laundry facilities, but sometimes it is easier not to have to hassle with it until the end of the trip, plus it does not take up much room)
- Overnight kit: tooth brush-paste, spare razors, shampoo, lotions, etc..
- Small personal medical kit with some of the following medications: Aspirin, Advil, Pepto Bismo and CIPRO -you need a prescription for this, its for dysentery should you get it, band aids, cough drops, etc. HHSG will provide all the high altitude medications and extensive medical kit, including oxygen and compression bag, etc. * Optional medication, light sleeping pill and light pain killer such as Asper-Codeine. Consult your doctor for advice on your personal medical kit
Ski clothing & miscl. items:
- Scarf or face maskOne pr. warm gloves & one pr. medium weight gloves, or mittens if you prefer mittens
- One top & bottom heavy expedition gauge long underwear (I prefer the poly-pro synthetic types)
- One medium weight top & bottom long underwear (I prefer the poly-pro synthetic types)
- One medium weight fleece or insulated jacket to put under your shell top
- One medium weight fleece or insulated vest to put under your shell top
- Gore-tex (or similar material), jacket & pants or bib-pants; or insulated jacket and pants; or one piece insulated ski suit or one piece shell suit. (I prefer the shell jacket and bib pants w/layer system)
- Two medium weight ski socks and two heavy weight ski socks (if you can use different thickness socks anyway, if not no worries.. just bring 4 or 5 pr. of what your used to using)
- Goggles (bring extra lenses, if your a couple one extra goggle for back up)
- Sunglasses one each (we have a Maui Jim sunglass test center your welcome to try anytime during the trip)
- Warm down or insulated jacket
- One pair warm after ski boots (I prefer high top hiking shoes)
- Ski boots & ski poles
- Warmer casual clothing for après skiing
- Sunscreen, get the strongest you can find
- One light weight backpack to carry your cameras with, water, snacks and shovel & probe which we provide should you not have any-one insulated water bottle for water or energy drinks, etc. *optional small thermos
Personal gear that you may or may not want to bring:
- Digital camera, 35mm Cameras or video cameras (we will be taking photos & video footage during the heliski portion of the trip)
- Skis, we will have Atomic skis available for you to use, they are the following models: Sugar Daddy, Big Daddy, Sweet Daddy and the Stomp. Take a look at them and see if their the kind of skis you want to ski on. We find that the Sugar Daddy is the most popular ski, its a great ski and very versatile. If your used to your own skis and don’t like switching skis, then we suggest you bring your own.
- Tennis Racket (they have clay tennis courts at the Yak & Yeti)
- Swiss Army knife or leatherman
- Any snack or energy foods, etc. that you like to have for skiing such as; energy bars, Power Bars, chocolates, energy mixes for drinks, Jerky, vitamins, etc. (we will supply some, but you may have some favorites which you can only get at home)
Food:
The Itinerary explains what meals are included each day according to the program. If you have allergies or preferences, let us know on the registration form and we will take it into account.
We always recommend that you bring your own energy bars, nuts… so that you can eat while doing the activities.
We believe solo travelers should not have to pay more to travel so our group trips are designed for shared accommodation and do not involve a single supplement. Single travelers joining group trips are paired in twin or multi-share accommodation with someone of the same sex for the duration of the trip. Some of our Independent trips are designed differently and solo travelers on these itineraries must pay the single trip price.
In case you wish that we can look for the best flight combination tickets from your nearest airport to the destination you can add this service in “extra services” on the checkout before booking the trip and will give you the best proposal beforehand and once accepted buy it for you. This service includes monitor the flight prices over time to get the best deal when prices are low and check in of your flight. The administrative fee for this service is 35€ + the flights cost that will be invoice to you afterwards.
We offer you a 5% discount on your IATI travel insurance. The discount is just valid if you buy the travel insurance policy after clicking on the link.
In case you wish that we can look for the best travel insurance that covers the trip destination/activity with your nationality. The client is informed that B4Experience will issue the trip without including a cancellation, repatriation or accident policy, unless it is explicitly included in the trip contract and paid in the first payment.
Rescue insurance: Mandatory
Rescue insurance is mandatory for this trip. It must be taken into consideration that these insurance policies are specific for each type of activity (hiking, climbing…)
The user is informed that the GUARANTEE COMPANY that covers the risks of contractual liability and guarantee against insolvency is MARKEL INSURANCE SE. Our trips are covered by Civil Liability insurance.
Visas, and Entry Requirements
Certainly! It is important to have a valid passport with at least 6 months validity when traveling to any country.
Nepal has VISA on Arrival for most of the countries, you can speed up the process and avoid queues when landing, if you submit your application online through this official web link.
Upon arrival, proceed to the bank counter at Tribhuwan International Airport with the submission ID (confirmation page) that you received when filling out the application form for a Nepal visa.
Pay the applicable fee in cash and after making the payment, proceed to the Immigration Officer Desk with your original passport for visa processing.
In the case of a visa, keep yourself up to date, as immigration policies often change. That is why it’s advisable to verify the information closer to your intended travel date.
Currently, as of February 2024, the Nepal tourist visa costs are as follows:
- 15 Days: USD 30
- 30 Days: USD 50
- 90 Days: USD 125
To know the specific visa requirements for your trip, it is recommended to contact your local embassy or consulate, or consult with your travel agent. Remember that it is your responsibility to ensure you have the correct travel documentation. Visa requirements can vary based on your nationality and your destination. While we strive to keep our information updated, visa rules can change unexpectedly. Therefore, it is crucial that you verify the information yourself and understand that you are accountable for meeting your own visa requirements.
Vaccines
For each trip, clients are solely responsible for having the mandatory and/or recommended vaccines required in each region or country. Consult with your doctor to have all vaccinations before the start of the trip.
The client can take out trip cancellation insurance to be able to obtain payment of the entire amount paid (according to its conditions).
The end user may withdraw from the contracted trip, having the right to a refund of the amounts paid, except for the indicated penalties, but must also satisfy the Agency in the amounts indicated below once the trip has been confirmed. If it is not carried out due to not reaching the minimum necessary places, the client can save the credit for future trips or request a full refund of the reservation.
Cancellation Policy :
If it becomes necessary for you to cancel your reservation, we require notice in writing. If we receive a cancellation notice more than six months prior to the skiing or trekking date, all the money on the deposit will be refunded less than 800.00 Euro per person. If we receive a cancellation notice less than six months prior to the heliski trip, the 30% deposit is non-refundable. When we receive a cancellation notice less than 10 weeks prior to the skiing date all money on the account is non-refundable. Monies on deposit will not be carried forward to future seasons. Obviously, this cancellation policy does not apply to last-minute clients. Last-minute clients are required to pay in full at the time of making the reservation.
EXEMPTION OF LIABILITY AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK
B4Experience offers active trips for different sports and Outdoor activities, as well as information related to these activities through our web platform www.b4experience.com and other channels.
The practice of any activity in nature carries a risk for those who do it, with most of these activities being considered high-risk sports. Each one must know and apply their limits and be aware that regardless of the technical training and physical level one has, their practice can lead to accidents or even death.
The in-person activities and trips offered by B4Experience are carried out on land and activities that may inherently involve risks for those who carry them out and thus clients are informed that they contract them.
