OSSETIA'S ITINERARY
Arrive in Vladikavkaz, North Ossetia’s vibrant capital, where you’ll meet the group. Transfer to your hotel, with free time to settle in and enjoy the city at your leisure. (Overnight in Vladikavkaz.)
Explore the beautiful city of Vladikavkaz, taking a stroll through its charming streets. Visit the fascinating necropolis in Dargavs, also known as the “City of the Dead,” and admire the Dzivgi fortress, an ancient stronghold that offers spectacular views. Conclude your day with a visit to the ancient city, before returning to your hotel in Vladikavkaz. (Overnight in Vladikavkaz.)
In the morning, transfer to Tskhinvali, the capital of South Ossetia. Once you arrive, take an evening walk through the city, soaking in its unique atmosphere. Enjoy the evening at your own pace before heading to your hotel for the night. (Overnight in Tskhinvali.)
Visit the historical sites surrounding Tskhinvali, including the Tiry Monastery, a significant cultural and religious landmark. Explore the mysterious burning spring, and finish your day with a visit to the observation deck, which offers panoramic views of the city. (Overnight in Tskhinvali.)
Spend the day visiting the picturesque Dzau district, including the tranquil Ertso and Koz lakes. Surrounded by stunning nature, this is a perfect day for relaxation and reflection. Return to Tskhinvali for the evening. (Overnight in Tskhinvali.)
Head to the Leningor district, where you will explore the impressive castle museum, ancient fortresses, and historical churches. Wrap up your day with a visit to an observation deck on the Caucasus ridge, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. (Overnight in Tskhinvali.)
In the morning, transfer back to North Ossetia, bringing your journey to a close. Depending on your schedule, you may have some free time in Vladikavkaz before your departure. (End of the trip.)

Day 4. Visit to the city of Grozny, an observation platform with a view of the city (stairway to heaven), a mosque, a church, the city of Grozny, the Grozny Sea. Then North Ossetia, a walk around the evening city (Hotel in Vladikavkaz)
Day 5. Visit to Dargavs (the city of the dead), a monastery, a monument to St. Uastyrdzhi. Next South Ossetia, a walk around the city, a 12th century church, city attractions, a visit to the burning fire, then a hotel. (hotel in Tskhinvali)
Day 6. Visit to the Leningor district, a museum-castle, fortresses, ancient churches, an observation deck on the Caucasus ridge. Visit to the Tirsky Monastery, Lake Ertso, A walk around the city of Tskhinvali and a tasting of local wine.

This journey offers three flexible programs, each designed to showcase the unique landscapes, cultures, and history of the Caucasus, with the option to explore South Ossetia, North Ossetia, Dagestan, and Chechnya.
Program 1: South Ossetia Exploration
Begin your adventure in Tskhinvali, the capital of South Ossetia, with visits to historical landmarks such as the Tiry Monastery and the City of the Dead in Dargavs. Explore the beautiful Dzau district, Ertso and Koz lakes, and enjoy breathtaking views from observation points along the Caucasus Ridge.
Program 2: North & South Ossetia Discovery
This program combines the best of North and South Ossetia. Explore the city of Vladikavkaz, the ancient Dzivgi fortress, and the City of the Dead in Dargavs. In South Ossetia, enjoy the scenic beauty of Tskhinvali, visit the Tiry Monastery, and discover the tranquil Ertso and Koz lakes, as well as the Leningor district’s castles and fortresses.
Program 3: Dagestan, Ossetia, and Chechnya
This comprehensive program takes you through Dagestan, North Ossetia, and Chechnya. In Dagestan, visit the ekranoplan and the ancient city of Derbent. Explore the stunning Sulak Canyon and Europe’s largest dune before heading to Grozny in Chechnya, where you’ll see the “Stairs to Heaven” observation platform, the mosque, and the iconic Grozny Sea. Conclude your journey with a visit to the cities and natural wonders of Ossetia.
This trip is accesible to all levels, can be small moderate treks with no technical difficulties. The program can be totally tailor made to your needs with no problem, just contact us and will take all your desires into consideration; hard trekkings, or even at slower pace, no problem.

The best months to discover Ossetia in comfort are from May to October.
We believe solo travelers should not have to pay more to travel so our group trips are designed for shared accommodation and do not involve a single supplement. Single travelers joining group trips are paired in twin or multi-share accommodation with someone of the same sex for the duration of the trip. Some of our Independent trips are designed differently and solo travelers on these itineraries must pay the single trip price.
In case you wish that we can look for the best flight combination tickets from your nearest airport to the destination you can add this service in “extra services” on the checkout before booking the trip and will give you the best proposal beforehand and once accepted buy it for you. This service includes monitor the flight prices over time to get the best deal when prices are low and check in of your flight. Visas, and Entry Requirements

To enter Ossetia, first you ned to enter in Russia two times, a double-entry Russian visa is required. This visa must be processed through the Russian embassy before your trip, as it is necessary for traveling to both North and South Ossetia. Make sure to apply in advance to ensure a smooth entry. The Price includes the South Ossetia Visa
Vaccines
For each trip, clients are solely responsible for having the mandatory and/or recommended vaccines required in each region or country. Consult with your doctor to have all vaccinations before the start of the trip.
Initial Reservation: To secure your place, an initial payment of 30% of the total amount of the trips is required at the time of making the reservation.
Final Payment: The remaining amount, equivalent to 70% of the total, must be paid no later than 90 days before the departure date.
Extras: Additional travel costs, such as insurace, flights and other options services, must be paid in full at the time of booking.
Cancellation insurance: The client can take out trip cancellation insurance to be able to obtain payment of the entire amount paid (according to its conditions).
The end user may withdraw from the contracted trip, having the right to a refund of the amounts paid, except for the indicated penalties, but must also satisfy the Agency in the amounts indicated below once the trip has been confirmed. If it is not carried out due to not reaching the minimum necessary required people, the client can save the credit for future trips or request a full refund of the reservation.
