A painful reality

The mission of B4Experience and the NGO Sarabastall
Refurbished laptops with all content 100% offline.
Since 2022 we have been building the first digital platform for outdoor training21 courses, more than 500 videos and 600 multiple-choice questions endorsed by five universities and featuring the Pou brothers, Pau Capell and Jordi Tosas… among other relevant figures in mountaineering.
Now we take the next step:
- Refurbished laptops with all content 100% offline.
- Videos dubbed and subtitled in English thanks to the "Last Mile" program of the Ministry of Tourism.
- Testing system to measure and validate carrier learning.
Próxima parada: Drifika 6.470m (octubre 2025)

From October 10 to 30, during the expedition guided by Jordi Tosas, we will deliver the equipment in the Huse Valley (gateway to the Karakoram) and also record a specific course for porters together with local guides from Pakistan.
The goal: to create a self-sufficient model that will remain in the region long after we leave.
In 2022, the NGO Sarabastall transformed the remote Huse Valley in Pakistan into a benchmark for alpine safety by installing the world's first portable mountain training classroom. For two weeks, expert guides conducted intensive workshops and practical simulations, training over eighty local porters and drastically reducing accidents on routes to K2. The program also established a community network of instructors to ensure ongoing training and create safer, better-paying jobs.
¿Cómo puedes ayudar?
| Action | Impact |
|---|---|
| Donate a laptop that you no longer use | Several porters gain access to vital training |
| Spread the initiative in your club or company | You multiply the pull factor |
| Join the charity trek | You will learn about the project on the ground. |
| Join the expedition | Experience your first 6,000-meter race and deliver the materials in person. |
Results we seek
- Reducing accidents involving porters on high mountain routes.
- To offer safer and better-paid job opportunities.
- To weave a continuous learning network managed by the local community itself.
Help us ensure that next season the porters climb with more and better training: give them knowledge and safety.
