We will stay in a beautiful cabin with a private sauna right above the sea. All included, guide, cars, fuel, sauna… a week of mountain skiing from the sea to the top.
The Lofoten archipelago in Norway is known for being a magical and postcard-perfect place, no wonder. It has stolen our hearts and for many years we have been doing the entire season from February to April at the place. The skiing possibilities are endless and we have different outings adapted to all levels.
The main airport in the region is Evenes, which is located between the cities of Harstad and Narvik; From there we will take the vehicles upon arrival and go to our beautiful cabin, which will be our base for the week. A common purchase will be made and the costs will be divided among all participants.
The cabin is located in Laupstad right between the best mountains in Lofoten, some of them we can leave the cabin with skis on and in others it will take about 15-25 minutes by car to get there. We will be about 20 minutes by car from Svolvaer, the capital of Lofoten with a multitude of restaurants, which we can visit.
There is the possibility of reserving individual places and joining an open group or creating your own group of friends and organizing a private trip; maximum capacity 7 people + mountain guide. We divide the different weeks according to levels and objectives. If you are interested, we will send you a form to match you with the group that best fits your profile.
Day 1
There are good connections with airlines such as Norwegian or SAS to Evenes airport (Harstad/Narvik). Upon arrival we will pick up the rental vehicles and go to our cabin, which is about 2 hours away by car. We will stop on the way to make a common food purchase at the supermarket.
Days 2 to 7
Every night the entire group will evaluate the different proposals and mountains in the area to decide between the group and the guide and choose the best plan that suits everyone for the next day. Most of the peaks are over 1000 meters high, we must consider that we leave from the beach with skis on. Some of the most popular peaks in the region are: Pilan, Torskmannen, Kvittinden…
If the group wants one day we can go to dinner or have a few beers in Svolvaer, the capital of Lofoten, which is about 20 minutes away by car.
Day 8
On this last day we will pack our bags and leave the cabin early to drive to the airport and take the return plane.

The Mountain Rescue service in Norway is free, including helicopter. Even so, we highly recommend being in possession of federal rescue insurance and carrying the European health card.
Even though we are in an Arctic region, the temperatures are not extreme due to the sea currents that arrive from the Caribbean. In the month of March you have to expect temperatures of about 0 degrees minimum and 5 degrees maximum.
