Pakistan and the Karakorum is a very wild area where we can be surprised by any type of unforeseen event (landlides, road closures, river flooding…) that can make us vary the programmed itinerary very easily. Clients are aware of the difficulty of organizing this type of trip and accept any changes made by the organization.
The Gondogoro Pass is a technical activity and will only be carried out if the weather is safe and the conditions of the mountain and the group are ideal, and the decision can be made to return along the same ascent route. It is necessary to have knowledge of winter mountaineering and progression with crampons and ice axes, as well as the use of ropes and fixed rope progression. Anyone who does not have the necessary level to safely carry out the Gondogoro crossing may be denied continuing with the group.
The order of the excursions described above may be altered at the discretion of the guide, according to weather forecasts or reasons of organization and safety for the group.
