TRIP DESCRIPTION
CLIMB TO TOUKBAL IN 3 DAYS
The Jbel Toubkal with its 4,167 meters is the highest mountain in North Africa, it is located in the Moroccan Western Atlas. Its ascent begins from the town of Imlil, located less than 1.5 hours by car from Marrakesh.
Everything and its height does not present major technical complications but we must consider the appropriate equipment depending on the time of year. During the winter and a good part of the spring, snow can be found from an elevation of 2,000 meters.
We will use mules to transport luggage, which will allow you to carry a personal backpack with little weight during the ascent.
At the foot of the mountain we have different villages of Berber culture, our local guides will introduce you to these friendly people and their customs.

Day 3
SUMMIT TOUBKAL AND TRANSFER MARRAKECH
Early in the morning we will summit Jebel Toukbal, the highest peak in North Africa. Your route ascends the south cirque, crossing the stream above the refuge. The walk is relatively easy, but the stony terrain and the altitude will make the march quite difficult in some sections. The views along the way make the trip worth it. At the top, you’ll see that the views of the landscape are breathtaking, from the Marrakech plain to the High Atlas in the north and as far south as the Anti-Atlas and the Sahara. We will begin the descent back to Imlil. Transfer back to Marrakech. About 9 to 10 hours walking. D/A
